OUR MODELTHE FLYWHEEL, IN DEPTH

The venture studio model.
Built to compound.

A venture studio doesn’t bet on companies. It builds them, with a permanent team, a repeatable system, and its own revenue behind every step. This is how Creo’s model works.

Back to the studio
THREE ENGINES01 / REVENUE

Three engines.
One forward motion.

Build revenue. Fund ambition.
Keep meaningful ownership.

01

Service

REVENUE FROM DAY ONE

Expert consulting, sales, and marketing for tech companies. Immediate revenue that keeps the engine running.

The service engine does two jobs at once. It generates revenue from the first day, and it keeps the team close to real customer problems in the market. Every engagement sharpens the same sales, marketing and technology muscles our ventures later rely on.

02

Product

REVENUE WITHIN MONTHS

Focused software for small and mid-size businesses. Built for the important niches big players overlook.

Products are focused software built for the important niches big players overlook. They reach revenue within months, not years, and each one proves out a market, a channel and a team before we commit venture-scale resources.

03

Ventures

BUILT FOR LARGE OUTCOMES

Companies in large markets without a dominant player. A longer road. A much higher ceiling.

Ventures are companies in large markets without a dominant player. They take longer and aim higher. Because the first two engines fund them, we raise later, on stronger terms, and keep meaningful ownership in what we build.

Service and product revenue funds our ventures. So we raise later, on stronger terms.

THE BUILD SYSTEM02 / DISCIPLINE

A system.
Not a bet.

Real customers before heavy spending.
Clear decisions before the next step.

01

Source

Good ideas come from many doors.

Our network, warm introductions, competitions and hackathons, and AI-assisted research into overlooked markets.

02

Validate

Customer conviction comes first.

Design partners within weeks. Real customers shape the product from the start, before we commit major resources.

03

Decide

Scale what works. Stop what doesn’t.

Move early and with discipline. When an idea doesn’t validate, we move the team to a better one.

IN PRACTICE

Rolescope: idea → live platform → design-partner talks. Under two months.

WHAT IT MEANS03 / FOR YOU

One model.
Three ways in.

The same engine serves founders,
partners and investors.

For founders

You bring the idea or the deep expertise. The studio brings a full-time building team, technology, and go-to-market from day one, so you never build alone.

For design partners

You shape products around your real friction and get early access before the market does. Your feedback steers what we build next.

For investors

One studio, a portfolio of ventures, and its own revenue engines behind them. Validation happens before heavy spending, not after.

COMMON QUESTIONS04 / FAQ

Questions we hear.
Answered.

The model, the engines,
and how we decide.

What is a venture studio model?

A venture studio builds companies instead of only investing in them. A permanent team works on new ventures full time, from the first idea, using a repeatable system for sourcing, validating and scaling. Creo runs this model with three partners and a shared building team across every venture.

How does Creo fund the ventures it builds?

Through its own revenue engines. The service engine generates revenue from day one through consulting, sales and marketing work for tech companies, and the product engine adds focused software for small and mid-size businesses. That revenue funds the ventures, so we raise later, on stronger terms, and keep meaningful ownership.

What are Creo's three revenue engines?

Service: expert consulting, sales and marketing for tech companies, producing revenue from day one. Product: focused software for the important niches big players overlook, reaching revenue within months. Ventures: companies in large markets without a dominant player, built for large outcomes over a longer road.

How does Creo decide which ideas to build?

Every idea goes through the same system: Source, Validate, Decide. Ideas come from our network, competitions, hackathons and AI-assisted market research. We validate with real design partners within weeks, before committing major resources. Then we decide: scale what works, and stop what doesn't, moving the team to a better idea.

How fast does Creo move from idea to market?

Fast, because the team and the system are already in place. Rolescope, our cloud security venture, went from idea to a live platform and design-partner talks in under two months.

How is a venture studio different from an accelerator or a VC fund?

Accelerators and funds back existing teams from the outside. A venture studio is the team: it employs the builders, shares technology and go-to-market across ventures, and stays involved from day one through scale. At Creo, the studio's own revenue also means ventures are not dependent on the next funding round to keep building.

Who can work with Creo?

Three groups. Founders who bring an idea or deep expertise and want a full-time team behind it. Design partners who want to shape products around their real friction and get early access. Investors who want exposure to a portfolio of validated ventures backed by the studio's own revenue engines.
